Route Description

- Green Lakes Trailhead to Backcountry Campsite #19: Start your journey along the Green Lakes Trail. The initial hike is moderate, with beautiful views of the surrounding wilderness.
- Ascend the NW Ridge: From campsite #19, climb the NW ridge (on the left side of the trail).
- Conquer the Cruxes:
- First Crux: A 15-foot low fifth-class climb with significant exposure.
- Second Crux (The Catwalk): A narrow ledge with loose rocks and steep drops.
- Third Crux (Summit Block): Another 15-foot low fifth-class climb to the true summit.
Heads-Up: The true summit lies along the NW Ridge, not the deceptive south peak visible from Green Lakes.
